Social media personality Skomota, known for his often-discussed public antics, has been defended by a fan after a playful interaction, involving an attempted kiss, quickly went viral.
The incident was brought to attention by an X (formerly Twitter) user named Moipone, who initially tweeted: “Tell me why Skomota tried to kiss me on the lips???”
The post immediately sparked widespread reactions, with some users sharing similar experiences and others criticizing Moipone for allowing the close interaction. Comments included: “He also tried that with me; I wanted to go home because wtf,” and “You’re not strict enough, you could’ve scared him away through just a mean mug.”
Despite the influx of jokes and negative comments, Moipone remained supportive of the star. She posted a video showing her comfortable moment with Skomota and emphatically defended him against the online backlash.
Moipone wrote: “There are so many mean comments under this tweet. I just wanna say there’s nothing wrong with Skomota, ke motho le yena and I don’t find him disgusting. I just thought it was funny that he wanted [a] kiss on the lips.”
