The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has officially ratified one of the biggest commercial rebrandings in South African football history. Starting with the 2026/27 campaign, Orlando Pirates’ legendary Soweto home will no longer be officially referred to as Orlando Stadium.

While the historic R280 million, three-year sponsorship deal was initially unveiled back in January 2026, league regulations forced the Buccaneers to retain the traditional “Orlando Stadium” naming rights for the remainder of the 2025/26 season. With the release of the new draft fixture list, the PSL has formally integrated the new corporate moniker.
The Grand Unveiling on Opening Day
The defending league champions will inaugurate the newly named arena in style on the opening day of the season.
