DJ Maphorisa is stepping into a new chapter with the launch of DAYVIBES, a Sunday experience focused on soulful music, food and good energy.
The award-winning South African DJ and producer announced the new venture on social media, inviting fans to join him every Sunday at DX Midrand for an afternoon designed around music, relaxation and connection.
According to Maphorisa, DAYVIBES will run from 14:00 until late, bringing together soulful sounds, soulful food and what he describes as a positive atmosphere for people to enjoy.
“A NEW JOURNEY BEGINS,” Maphorisa announced, introducing the concept to his followers.
The first DAYVIBES event is scheduled for Sunday, 11 October 2026, marking the beginning of what Maphorisa hopes will become a regular Sunday destination.
The concept goes beyond a traditional music event, with guests encouraged to come through, enjoy a meal, dance, connect with others and take in the relaxed Sunday atmosphere.
With its combination of music and food, DAYVIBES is positioned as a social experience designed for people looking to end their weekend on a high note.
Maphorisa also called on his supporters to back the new venture as he begins building what he describes as a “beautiful Sunday journey”.
