In a development few South Africans saw coming, long-time social media rivals Ntsiki Mazwai and Nota Baloyi have put aside years of public clashing to forge a surprisingly supportive friendship, sending shockwaves across X (formerly Twitter).

Their relationship pivot began earlier this year when Mazwai extended an olive branch, inviting Baloyi onto her Moya Podcast. Since then, the icy history has melted into public displays of solidarity.
The bond solidified recently when Mazwai opened up about feeling betrayed during her ongoing defamation case involving Euphonik. Baloyi immediately stepped into the role of public ally, documenting his visit to offer support.
Sharing a joint selfie, Nota affirmed his loyalty: “Guess who unashamedly showed up to give moral support to his sister? A BLACK MAN!”
Mazwai returned the affection, giving the producer an “appreciation tweet” and calling him “the AUTHORITY. (As mad as he is).” Her reflective message about the situation—“Karma has everyone’s addresses. Balance. Us who they call crazy always outlive the bull”— resonated with followers.

The visible unity has sparked massive conversation, with users praising the pair for choosing maturity. One commenter summed up the mood, noting that true peace, not punishment, is “the real Karma.”
