South African gospel collective Omega Circle has officially released the emotional music video for their latest single, “Ungasabi”—a powerful visual project confronting depression, unemployment, grief, and financial strain head-on.
Featured on their latest EP, Spirit Lift Me, the track moves past polished perfection to showcase the raw emotional realities facing millions daily. The first three minutes depict silent struggles, offering reassurance through its core refrain:
“Ungasabi. Ungalahli ithemba. Don’t be afraid. He is the Redeemer. He will never forsake you.”
From Pain to Restoration
Rather than framing faith as an instant fix, “Ungasabi” portrays it as the foundation to endure and rebuild. As the video progresses, the story pivots toward healing—highlighting individuals seeking therapy, families reuniting, graduates celebrating success, and lives being restored.
“The video shows a lot of life’s vulnerabilities, people going through difficult times and finally things starting to look up and get better, which speaks to God being the Redeemer.”
— Omega Circle
5-Part Digital Campaign Launched
To accompany the release, Omega Circle has kicked off a five-part social media campaign unpacking the video’s core themes under a central message:
“Be kind. Everyone is fighting a silent battle.”
The release continues momentum from their previous single, “Ngembathe,” which generated over 3,000 fan-created videos across platforms.
