Olwethu Makhanya has wasted little time making his presence felt in Scotland, delivering an impressive performance on his UEFA Conference League debut for Rangers.
The 22-year-old South African centre-back played the full 90 minutes as Rangers edged Czech side FK Jablonec 1-0 at Ibrox, giving the Scottish giants a narrow advantage ahead of the second leg.
For Makhanya, the performance was an encouraging first step as he looks to establish himself at one of Scotland’s biggest clubs.
