Moozlie, Rouge and Nadia Nakai reunite in the studio for “BIG 3 Camp,” reigniting speculation about a major South African hip-hop collaboration.

Moozlie recently shared a video featuring herself alongside Rouge and Nadia Nakai, simply captioning the post “BIG 3 Camp.” While the artists have yet to officially announce an album, the studio footage has immediately raised questions about what the trio could be working on behind the scenes.

The latest link-up adds to a growing trail of clues surrounding the Big 3. In 2025, the three rappers joined forces on “Juicy,” a high-energy collaboration produced by Wichi 1080. The track gave fans their first major taste of what happens when the three distinctive artists share the same record.

Nadia Nakai previously hinted that the trio had plans to create more music together while speaking about the Big Three Concert at Emperors Palace. Moozlie later added to the anticipation in early 2026, revealing that the three artists were working on “some really, really crazy projects.”

Now, with the trio apparently spending time together in a studio camp, speculation surrounding a larger Big 3 release has reached another level.

A full-length project would bring together three artists with distinctly different approaches to hip-hop. Nadia Nakai is known for her commanding presence and confident delivery, Moozlie brings sharp lyricism and versatility, while Rouge has built a reputation for her technical skill and hard-hitting rap performances.

Their collaboration also represents something bigger than simply putting three established rappers on the same project. The Big 3 have the potential to challenge the competitive narratives that have often surrounded women in hip-hop by placing collaboration, sisterhood and collective visibility at the centre of the conversation.

For now, there is no official confirmation of a joint album, release date or tracklist. But the “BIG 3 Camp” footage has given fans enough reason to believe that something significant could be taking shape.

If the current studio sessions eventually become a full collaborative body of work, Moozlie, Rouge and Nadia Nakai could deliver one of the most anticipated female hip-hop projects to emerge from South Africa.

For now, the question remains: Is the Big 3 preparing an album, or are they simply cooking up something even bigger?
