Manana and Nasty C have reunited for the official music video for their reflective collaboration “Alright,” giving fans a visual companion to one of the standout moments from Manana’s latest album, it really isn’t what it is.

Released shortly after midnight on 15 September 2026, the video takes a deliberately understated approach, allowing the song’s emotional message to remain at the centre of the experience.

Directed by CRTVSHOTS, who also handled the cinematography, colour grading and editing, the visual relies on intimate scenes rather than an elaborate storyline or heavily produced spectacle.

A Simple Visual for a Powerful Message

The video’s stripped-back aesthetic complements the reflective nature of “Alright.” Among the memorable moments is a scene featuring Nasty C riding a bicycle, while Manana’s vocals create a calm and contemplative backdrop.

The song itself centres on perseverance, encouraging listeners to keep moving through difficult periods while holding onto the possibility that better days are ahead.

Manana delivers the track with his characteristically emotive approach, while Nasty C contributes a personal verse that expands on the song’s themes of struggle, resilience and hope.

Manana and Nasty C Reconnect

“Alright” also marks another chapter in the musical relationship between the two artists.

Manana has previously spoken positively about Nasty C’s musical instincts, particularly his ability to blend melody with his rap delivery. Their creative relationship previously produced a collaboration on Nasty C’s I Love It Here album.

This time, the collaboration appears on Manana’s own project, it really isn’t what it is, bringing the two artists together for a track that fits naturally into the album’s introspective atmosphere.

Inside it really isn’t what it is

The album features additional collaborations, including Lusanda on “No More” and Kali Claire on “Talking Stages.”

Production across the project includes contributions from MODIKA, Christer, John Lundun and members of Seba Kaapstad, helping shape the warm, restrained sound that runs through the record.

With the “Alright” visual now out, Manana has given fans another way to experience the song’s message. Rather than overwhelming the track with elaborate imagery, the video lets its central idea breathe: difficult moments may not last forever, and there is still room for hope.

Fans can watch the official “Alright” music video on Manana’s YouTube channel and stream it really isn’t what it is across digital platforms.
