The family of late South African rugby player Hyron Andrews has confirmed arrangements for memorial services and a celebration of his life following his tragic passing while on tour with the Lions.
Andrews, who played as a lock for the Johannesburg-based franchise, died last month while the team was preparing for its Champions Cup opening match in Europe.
The Lions previously confirmed that the cause of death was a tear in the aorta, attributed to natural causes, following a medical examination conducted in France.
With his body having been returned to South Africa, the family has now shared details of the events planned to honour his life and remember his contribution to rugby.
The arrangements include a public memorial service in Paarl, a private funeral and a celebration of life at Kings Park Stadium.
