Mamelodi Sundowns and global sportswear giants PUMA have officially revealed the club’s new home kit for the 2026/27 Betway Premiership campaign, and it comes with a major piece of club history attached.
For the first time in Masandawana history, the famous jersey features two stars above the crest—marking the club’s second CAF Champions League title triumph secured in May 2026.
Nostalgic Nods: Homage to the Class of 1994
The new kit revives the timeless combination of a yellow shirt, blue shorts, and white socks—the exact look featured on the cover of Kick Off magazine’s inaugural edition in February 1994.
Key Design Details:
- Historic Badge: The iconic second star added above the crest.
- Retro Touches: Red PUMA logos, a thin green stripe along the collar, and subtle debossed yellow stripes.
- Campaign Stars: Unveiled under the “Shine on Masandawana” banner, featuring current stars Grant Kekana, Thapelo Morena, Malibongwe Khoza, and Kutlwano Letlhaku, alongside club legends Daniel “Mambush” Mudau, Roger Feutmba, and Hlompho Kekana.
