The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has officially released the draft fixtures for the 2026/27 Motsepe Foundation Championship season. Sixteen clubs will lock horns across South Africa in a high-stakes campaign for direct promotion to the Betway Premiership.
The action kicks off on Friday, 21 August 2026, and will run through to 9 May 2027.
Rebranding & Promoted Teams
- Real Native FC (Formerly Casric Stars): The Mpumalanga outfit enters the season under a new brand identity and will feature in the campaign’s opening match.
- Fresh Blood: Newly promoted sides Hope FC and North-West University (NWU FC) join the second tier following successful runs in the SAFA ABC Motsepe League National Playoffs.
- Favorites Tag: Having finished second last term—watching Kruger United and Milford FC claim top-flight status—Cape Town City FC enter the campaign as early title favorites.
