Orlando Pirates have extended their winning run to six consecutive league matches after a 3-0 victory over TS Galaxy in the Betway Premiership, keeping the pressure on log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.
Three goals, three scorers
Boitumelo Radiopane, Tshepang Moremi and Simphiwe Masilela all found the net for the Buccaneers, who controlled the contest and left Orlando with all three points. Radiopane’s strike was the one that put Pirates ahead before the break, as noted in earlier halftime updates.
Closing in on Sundowns
The win lifts Pirates to 22 points from eight matches, a strong return that keeps them within touching distance of the top. Sundowns remain the benchmark, but a streak like this shows Pirates are firmly in the title conversation.
A tough night for TS Galaxy
The heavy defeat adds to a difficult spell for Galaxy, whose start to the season has already put pressure on the technical team, with management reportedly weighing a coaching change.
