South African hip-hop newcomer BABYG!RL ZAE is turning the build-up to her latest single into an opportunity for aspiring artists. Introducing the announcement with the greeting “Sanbonani Emakhaya”, she revealed that the upcoming release would feature an open verse opportunity.
She wrote:
“The Song Sanbonani will be out this Friday. Here is an Open Verse Challenge – Lets Hear your Raps and Skills & You Might be Featured On The Remix!”
The challenge gives participants an opportunity to showcase their creativity, with standout submissions potentially earning a feature on the official remix.

The upcoming release follows a busy year for the rising rapper. Earlier in 2026, ZAE collaborated with her label boss Emtee on the single ‘Manje’, before teaming up with Sastii for the energetic track ‘Tlean’.
