Is a fourth “Khumalo” on the way? South African vocal powerhouse Kelly Khumalo has sent the rumor mill into overdrive after hinting that she isn’t quite ready to close the chapter on motherhood.
The Ngathwala Ngaye star, who is already a mother of three, recently engaged in a playful social media exchange that suggests her family tree might still have room for one more branch.
The Restaurant Run that Started it All
The conversation began when Kelly shared adorable snaps with her youngest daughter, Luna Khumalo. The singer joked about the charms of her little one, noting how her children often dictate her social schedule.
“Uzozithola ungena eRestaurant ungazimisele,” Kelly posted (meaning: “You find yourself going to a restaurant against your will”).
While fans were busy gushing over the mother-daughter bonding, one follower noted they had originally expected Kelly’s last child to be a boy.

Balancing the Equation: “Kushoda One More Boy”
Kelly didn’t shy away from the observation. Instead, she provided a glimpse into her ideal family dynamic, suggesting she wants to balance out her brood of three.
The Current Khumalo Count:
- 1 Son
- 2 Daughters
Responding directly to the fan, Kelly wrote: “I have one boy and two girls, kushoda [I need] one more boy.”
This “one more” comment has left her “Bohly” fan base speculating whether the singer is actively planning for baby number four or simply manifesting a future addition to the family.
