Reality TV personality and influencer Inno Morolong is in mourning following the loss of her mother, Moipone Martha Morolong. The family confirmed that Moipone passed away peacefully on March 17, 2026, surrounded by loved ones, after a courageous three-year battle with melanoma.
A Daughter’s Gratitude
Known for her outspoken presence in the entertainment industry, Inno shared a more vulnerable side with her followers. In a series of emotional posts, she credited her mother as the foundation of her life and a co-parent to her own daughter.
“RIP to my mother, love you forever, my everything,” Inno wrote. “Thanks for helping me raise my daughter, thanks for giving me a good life, thanks for being the best mom to me and everyone.”
A Legacy of Courage
The Morolong family released a formal statement describing Moipone as a woman of “extraordinary love and warmth.” Diagnosed with cancer in 2023, she reportedly faced her illness with the same strength she used to lead her household.
The statement honored her as a devoted wife to Sabata Ephraim Morolong, a mother to Inno, Olivia, and Gift, and a doting grandmother to five grandchildren. Her family emphasized that while her battle was difficult, her spirit remained at peace.
Finding Solace in Faith
Inno concluded her tribute with a traditional Sotho prayer: “Modimo o bolokile Moya wa hao” (God has saved your spirit), finding comfort in the belief that her mother’s earthly work was well done.
