Author, speaker, and prominent philanthropist Rachel Kolisi has shared a deeply emotional update regarding her foundation’s upcoming Mandela Day initiative, revealing a massive funding breakthrough that has completely secured the project’s future.

Taking to Instagram, a visibly moved Kolisi described an emergency meeting with corporate partner Finance Crypto that quickly turned into what she called “probably my favorite meeting in the whole world ever in my lifetime.”

A Sudden Lifeline for Community Healthcare

With Mandela Day fast approaching on July 18, Kolisi admitted that her team at the Falling Forward Foundation had been quietly carrying immense stress over a significant funding gap, wondering how they would raise enough capital in time.

The anxiety evaporated in under five minutes. During the high-stakes meeting, representatives delivered the incredible news that Binance Southern Africa will be completely stepping in to fund and cover the remaining balance for the entire initiative.

“Whatever hasn’t been raised yet, they will cover,” Kolisi shared with her followers. “I’m just super grateful and thankful to every single one of you who has donated as well, even for the R20s and the R50s. We’re going to do amazing work on Mandela Day.”

The Power of 670 Lives

The critical financial lifeline ensures that the upcoming collaboration with the Impilo Project is fully equipped to deliver comprehensive, high-quality community healthcare. Because of this massive corporate backing, every single person who walks through the clinic doors on July 18 will receive the essential medical attention and care they deserve.

Reflecting on the milestone in her caption, Kolisi emphasized that true social impact requires massive, collaborative ecosystems.

“When serving others is one of your core values, you quickly realize that you can never do it alone,” she wrote. “Through the Falling Forward Foundation, one of our greatest hopes is to bring people, corporates, organizations, and communities together to create lasting impact. This partnership is exactly what that looks like. Here’s to serving 670 lives this Mandela Day.”
