Cassper Nyovest is ready for one of the biggest nights on the South African music calendar as SAMA32 goes live from Sun City this evening.
The rapper and SAMA32 co-host took to social media to share his excitement ahead of tonight’s ceremony, inviting fans to tune in to SABC 1 at 20:00.
“Today is the day. Meet me in your home at 8pm on SABC 1!!! Hope yall enjoy the show!!! Thank you for all the messages !!! I love you and I appreciate you all!! #SAMA32.”
Cassper will host the 32nd South African Music Awards alongside Zanele Potelwa. The ceremony takes place at the Sun City Superbowl on Saturday, 15 August 2026, with the red carpet beginning at 19:30 before the main awards ceremony at 20:00.

Cassper’s role as co-host is a notable moment, particularly given his complicated relationship with the awards in previous years.
His appearance comes as SAMA32 celebrates the country’s music industry under the theme of a “Homecoming Edition”, bringing together established stars, emerging artists and industry figures.

Tyla is also set to receive the International Achievement Award, while legendary producer and DJ Oskido will be honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
