In a brave and deeply personal decision, award-winning South African hip-hop artist Fifi Cooper has announced the temporary suspension of her highly anticipated 1 Night with Fifi Cooper tour.
The decision, made jointly by the artist and her record label MoCooper Records, comes in the wake of an unexpected personal matter relating to Gender-Based Violence (GBV). In an official statement, the label emphasized that their absolute priority is securing the immediate safety, mental health, and well-being of Fifi and her family during this challenging period.
Affected Tour Dates & Automatic Refund Process
To allow the artist space to address the situation, the upcoming first legs of the tour have been completely cancelled:
- 25 July 2026: Mardi Gras Theatre at Carnival City (Gauteng)
- 1 August 2026: Mahikeng (North West)
Ticket Refund Policy: Fans who bought tickets through official ticketing platforms like Webtickets do not need to take manual action. MoCooper Records has confirmed that automatic, full refunds have already been initiated back to the original payment methods.
A Message of Resilience to “FIFINATION”
Fifi Cooper shared a touching personal message expressing deep regret for the disappointment, while displaying the strength she is known for in her music:
“To FIFINATION, I am so grateful for each and every one of you… I am so deeply sorry that we have had to make these changes… I intend to come back stronger. I’ve always drawn so much strength from you, and because of that, I will face this with my head held high and leading with faith.”
