According to reports from Maphepha Ndaba, Mushonga revealed that Mbau delivered an unexpected and swift breakup. He described the moment of her departure as jarringly casual:
“She came to my room and said, ‘Sorry, did I wake you up?’ Next thing, she was on a flight back to South Africa,” Kudzai recounted during the broadcast.
Beyond the sudden exit, Mushonga opened up about deeper issues within the partnership. He revealed that their relationship had seemingly become distant, sharing that they were “not even intimate.” He expressed profound frustration and a feeling of being undervalued, especially given the emotional investment he had made into a woman he had hoped to build a future with.
