South African musician Chymamusique generated a wave of humorous reactions on X (formerly Twitter) following a witty exchange with a fan who offered to marry him.
The conversation began when the artist posted about selling his bikes. In a subsequent comment, Chymamusique shared a personal note, revealing: “I don’t have a wife, kids & good health.”
A fan seized the moment, boldly replying: “I can be your wifey.”
Chymamusique’s immediate and cheeky response, which instantly went viral, was: “My machines don’t work.”
This light-hearted, yet self-deprecating, comeback sent social media users into a frenzy, sparking many comical replies, such as, “Soldier is not standing at attention, OG,” and “The machine machine? Machine gun?”
Health Struggles Revealed
While the exchange was playful, the musician also used the platform to openly discuss serious health challenges he has been facing. He shared that he is managing a medical condition resulting from a fatal accident he was involved in.
Chymamusique revealed the severity of his condition, stating: “I had a seizure & brain surgery which might lead to epilepsy,” adding that this ongoing struggle may prevent him from driving permanently.
