The “Sea Robbers” have officially confirmed a major mid-season move. Orlando Pirates striker Tshegofatso Mabasa has joined Stellenbosch FC on a loan deal that will see him remain in the Winelands for the rest of the 2025/26 campaign.
The 29-year-old forward, who has struggled for consistent minutes under Abdeslam Ouaddou’s high-pressing system, heads to Stellies in search of regular game time. Mabasa brings a lethal track record to Gavin Hunt’s squad, as he remains the second-highest goalscorer in the Buccaneers’ PSL history.
