Former Real Housewives of Durban star Slee Ndlovu is setting the record straight regarding her failed relationship with businessman Archie Masebe, revealing the intense love she felt before the romance ultimately fell apart.
Speaking candidly on the Engineer Your Life podcast, Slee detailed the whirlwind romance, which went Instagram-official in March 2026, and why it ultimately ended before reaching its first anniversary.
He Loved Me Loud
Slee explained that her decision to flaunt the relationship on social media was driven by the unprecedented affection Archie showed her.
“It felt different. This man showed me love in a way that I have never experienced it. This guy was all for me and loved me,” she revealed. “It’s unheard of that a guy just posts you and talks about you loudly, and he loved me so loud.”
The Need for Authenticity
Despite initially feeling that she had found “the one”—even writing on Instagram that Archie loved her in ways she had only “dreamt of”—Slee noted that the relationship quickly deteriorated.
She revealed the split was necessary because she refused to live in a “space of make-believe.”
“This relationship didn’t even last a year. When I met this guy I was just rediscovering myself.”
