Controversial gossip blogger Musa Khawula is reportedly back in the legal crosshairs after failing to retract explosive and allegedly baseless claims involving senior executives at the Public Investment Corporation (PIC).
The Allegations
The storm began on February 16, 2026, when Khawula took to X (formerly Twitter) to post a series of “blind items” that weren’t so blind. He accused the PIC’s Chief Investment Officer, Kabelo Rikhotso, and his colleague, Lindiwe Dlamini, of engaging in an extramarital affair.
Using his signature provocative style, Khawula labeled the pair as “work husband” and “work wife,” alleging that Dlamini had “discarded her husband” for Rikhotso and that both were cheating on their respective partners within the corporation.

Legal Ultimatum Ignored
The response from the executives was swift and severe. Legal representatives for Rikhotso and Dlamini have categorized the posts as defamatory, baseless, and entirely unsubstantiated. Khawula was served with a letter of demand requiring him to:
- Delete the original posts by February 17, 2026.
- Remove all related commentary and sub-tweets.
- Issue a formal retraction.
However, the deadline passed with the content remaining live, leading to an immediate escalation of the legal process.
The Escalation: Prison Time on the Table?
According to reports from Daily Sun, the law firm DM5 Incorporated—representing Dlamini, Rikhotso, and the PIC—is now moving forward with an urgent interdict.
Perhaps most significantly, the legal team is reportedly seeking a court order that could lead to imprisonment should Khawula continue to defy the demand to remove the defamatory material. For a blogger who has built a career on the edge of controversy, this “fresh legal storm” may be the one that finally breaks the levee.
