Minister of Sport, Arts, and Culture Gayton McKenzie has officially announced the first 16 lucky winners of the “Mzansi to the World Cup” competition. These passionate supporters are set to receive an all-expenses-paid trip to witness Bafana Bafana take on Mexico in the opening match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The initiative, which drew thousands of entries from across South Africa, was designed to reward the heartbeat of South African football: the fans. One representative was selected for each of the 16 PSL clubs, with an independent panel led by veteran broadcaster Robert Marawa overseeing the selection process.
