Fresh off their triumph in the SANZAAR U20 Rugby Championship, the Junior Springboks are back in action to kickstart the brand-new SA Rugby Under-20 International Series. Head coach Kevin Foote has rolled out a heavily rotated matchday squad to face Chile at Rondebosch Boys’ High School in Cape Town.
With only eight players retained from the 23-man squad that drew against New Zealand in Gqeberha, Foote is treating this series as a crucial laboratory to build depth and match sharpness ahead of next month’s Junior World Championship in Georgia. Flanker Risima Khosa takes the captain’s armband, while exciting Sharks flyhalf Vusi Moyo has been handed the keys to the backline.
