The Boks were already forced to adapt on the eve of the England match when powerhouse forwards Siya Kolisi and Eben Etzebeth were late withdrawals. Now, the squad faces a race against time to patch up several key players.

- Andre Esterhuizen (Centre): Suffered a neck blow and a confirmed concussion during the match and will undergo strict assessment protocols.
