
When the Premier Soccer League (PSL) drops the official fixture calendar, football fans across South Africa collectively scroll past everything else to find two specific dates. The wait is over. The dates for the iconic Soweto Derby double-header between arch-rivals Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs have been officially locked in for the 2026/27 campaign.
The football capital of the country will split in two on the following weekends:
- The First Leg (Pirates Home Game): Saturday, 31 October 2026
- The Return Leg (Chiefs Home Game): Saturday, 13 March 2027
Note: While both blockbusters are expected to sell out the historic FNB Stadium, official kick-off times will be finalized by the league in due course.
