The search for first-team minutes continues for Naturena’s brightest prospects. Kaizer Chiefs have officially sanctioned a season-long loan move for highly rated 21-year-old central defender Xolani Cossa to Motsepe Foundation Championship outfit Gomora United for the 2026/27 campaign.
The left-footed center-back spent the 2025/26 season gaining valuable senior experience in Botswana with Black Lions FC. Despite interest from Black Lions to retain his services for a second term—and widespread expectation that Chiefs might retain him following Aden McCarthy’s exit—Amakhosi’s management opted for a local second-tier assignment to accelerate his development.

- Amakhosi Reunion: At Gomora United, Cossa reunites with former Kaizer Chiefs DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) teammate Sifiso Timba, who signed a full-season loan following a successful spell during the second half of last term.
