Kaizer Chiefs have lost one of their primary attacking threats. Democratic Republic of Congo winger Glody Lilepo has officially confirmed his departure from Amakhosi, sharing a heartfelt farewell message to the club, management, and the Khosi Nation.
Lilepo leaves Naturena after a highly impactful 18-month tenure, during which he helped end the club’s decade-long trophy drought and secured back-to-back CAF Confederation Cup qualifications.

Lilepo took to social media to express his gratitude to the leadership—including Dr. Kaizer Motaung, Kaizer Motaung Jr., and Bobby Motaung—alongside the coaching staff and supporters.
“Khosi Nation, it is with emotion that my journey with you comes to an end. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to everyone at Kaizer Chiefs,” Lilepo wrote.
