Puso Dithejane’s impressive rise in Major League Soccer has earned him his first major individual honour at Chicago Fire — and his latest form could put him firmly in the conversation for a Bafana Bafana call-up.
The 22-year-old South African attacker has been named Chicago Fire’s Player of the Month for July/August after producing four goals and three assists during a highly productive spell.
It is another significant milestone for the former Kaizer Chiefs academy product, who has quickly established himself as an influential figure in the United States.
DITHEJANE MAKES HIS MARK IN MLS
Dithejane’s form has accelerated since the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with the attacker becoming increasingly influential for Chicago Fire.
