South African football legend Doctor Khumalo has landed a new role within the South African Football Association (SAFA), marking another important chapter in his contribution to the game.
Kaizer Chiefs legend and former Bafana Bafana star Doctor Khumalo has been appointed vice-chairperson of SAFA’s Technical Committee, following an announcement by SAFA president Dr Danny Jordaan.
Speaking to the media on Sunday, Jordaan confirmed that Jack Maluleke would continue as committee chairperson, with Khumalo taking up the vice-chairperson position.
“We have reappointed Mr Jack Maluleke as the chair and appointed Doctor Khumalo as the vice-chairperson of the SAFA Technical Committee,” Jordaan announced.
He added that he had spoken to Khumalo, who was happy to serve on the committee.
