Kaizer Chiefs have made four changes to their starting XI for Saturday afternoon’s Betway Premiership clash against Polokwane City at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Kick-off is scheduled for 15:00, with Amakhosi looking to build on their unbeaten start to the league campaign.

Four Changes for Amakhosi

Head coach Fernando Da Cruz has shuffled his lineup, with Reeve Frosler, Bradley Cross, Sibongiseni Mthethwa and Etiosa Ighodaro coming into the starting XI.

They replace Dillan Solomons, Zitha Kwinika, Mduduzi Shabalala and Wandile Duba.

Petersen, Frosler, Miguel, Moloisane, Cross, Mthethwa, Maboe, Ndlovu, Vilakazi, Ighodaro, Mmodi.

Frosler returns at right-back, while Cross starts on the left. Inacio Miguel and Thabo Moloisane provide the central defensive partnership.

Up front, Etiosa Ighodaro leads the line, with Mfundo Vilakazi and Pule Mmodi offering attacking support.

Polokwane City Starting XI

The home side will rely on the following lineup:

Masuluke, Manthosi, Nkaki, Ramaja, Modise, Kambala, Maphangule, Matube, Sebone, Dlamini, Molokwane.

Polokwane City will be hoping to frustrate the visitors and make home advantage count.

Amakhosi Target Another Win

Kaizer Chiefs currently sit third on the Betway Premiership table, having recorded three wins and two draws from their opening five matches.

Their confidence is also high following an entertaining 3-2 victory over Siwelele FC.

Polokwane City, meanwhile, occupy 11th position and have managed just one victory from five matches. The hosts have shown some fight, however, with three draws during that spell.

With both teams needing points for different reasons, the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium is set for an intriguing Betway Premiership battle.

Can Kaizer Chiefs continue their unbeaten run, or will Polokwane City cause an upset on home soil?
