Award-winning DJ and media personality Lamiez Holworthy is celebrating a major milestone after being named a recipient at the Glamour South Africa Women of the Year Awards.
Lamiez took to Instagram to share an emotional video and a heartfelt caption, noting that the recognition arrived during a particularly significant period in her personal and professional life.
Reflecting on her journey, she wrote: “God did a thing. Fifteen whole years since I was led to this path… fifteen since God promised that He’d change not only my life but that of my loved ones. Fifteen since MUSIC changed my life and I won a Glamour SA Women of the Year Award last night.”
The celebrated artist also disclosed that the past few weeks had been challenging for her. Despite facing recent difficulties, Lamiez stated that the award served as a potent reminder of her blessings, her faith, and the continued support she receives from her ancestors.
