Lowfeye’s KWAMAKHULU Johannesburg show is 80% sold out ahead of Friday’s event at Da Valt. Tickets start at R150 as demand continues to grow.

Lowfeye’s highly anticipated KWAMAKHULU live series is already generating serious interest, with the Johannesburg opening show now 80% sold out ahead of Friday’s event.

The rapper has urged his supporters to secure their tickets as the first stop on his intimate live series draws closer.

Taking to Instagram with a ticket update, Lowfeye thanked fans for their support, simply saying, “Siyabonga,” while reminding those who have not yet purchased tickets that they can still do so through the link in his bio.

Lowfeye prepares for Johannesburg showcase

The Johannesburg edition of KWAMAKHULU takes place on Friday, 9 October 2026, at Da Valt on Marshall Street in Marshalltown.

Doors open at 17:00, with the programme scheduled to run until 23:00. Tickets are available from R150 via Computicket, although the 80% sales milestone suggests availability could become limited before show night.

Lowfeye will be joined by a live band as he takes fans through different chapters of his musical journey.

The performance is expected to revisit material from his Mfana kaMakhulu and Imibuzo eras, Days Before NOSANGE, as well as his 2026 debut album, NOSANGE.

KWAMAKHULU takes Lowfeye’s catalogue back to the people

The three-city KWAMAKHULU series was created as a celebration of the supporters who have followed Lowfeye since his early underground days.

Rather than simply promoting his latest project, the concept gives the rapper an opportunity to revisit the music that has shaped his career and present it in a more intimate live-band setting.

Following the Johannesburg opening, the series will move to The Bat Bistro in Durban on 30 October, before concluding at 20 Lifestyle Lounge in Dundee on 11 December.

The format gives longtime fans an opportunity to experience familiar songs differently while also highlighting the evolution of Lowfeye’s artistry.

Johannesburg show closing in on a full house

With the opening night already 80% sold out, anticipation around Lowfeye’s Johannesburg performance continues to build.

The rapper’s call for fans to secure their tickets comes as the countdown to Friday continues, with the remaining tickets expected to be in demand.

For supporters who have followed Lowfeye from his early days to NOSANGE, KWAMAKHULU promises a chance to reconnect with the music and moments that have defined his journey so far.

Johannesburg is first — and KWAMAKHULU is already heading towards a full house.
