This is a remote position.
A full-service digital marketing agency is looking for a motivated Junior Sales Executive based in South Africa.
This is an opportunity to develop your sales career with direct training and mentorship from the agency’s main Sales Executive. We’re looking for someone who learns quickly, adapts well and brings a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
You will learn to sell Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO and web development services, helping businesses choose the right solutions for their goals.
Previous digital marketing sales experience is welcome but not essential.
Working Arrangement
- Location: Remote, South Africa only.
- Hours: 35 hours per week.
- Schedule: Flexible, with some overlap required with colleagues in US Eastern time and Lisbon, Portugal.
- Training: Hands-on guidance from the main Sales Executive.
Remuneration
- Indicative monthly base earnings: Approximately R26,174–R32,717 before applicable tax, based on 35 paid hours per week, averaged across the year.
- Commission: Approximately R1,438–R7,191 per closed sale, depending on the service sold.
- Underlying hourly rate: Approximately R172.57–R215.72 before applicable tax.
Responsibilities
With training and support, you will progressively learn to:
- Identify potential clients through outbound outreach, referrals and networking.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand clients’ business goals and marketing needs.
- Recommend and present suitable digital marketing services.
- Build and maintain a sales pipeline using CRM tools
Requirements
- Currently based in South Africa with SA ID.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and apply feedback.
- Self-motivated, organised and reliable.
- Comfortable approaching new prospects and undertaking cold outreach.
- Interested in digital marketing and consultative selling.
- Available for 35 hours per week with the required international time-zone overlap.
Sales experience is advantageous, but applicants without experience may be considered if they demonstrate initiative, sales potential and a willingness to learn.
Advantageous
- Experience in digital marketing, SaaS or agency services.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Pipedrive or similar CRM tools.
- Experience with LinkedIn outreach or sales sequencing.
- An existing network of SME business owners.
