The Final Standings & Top-Flight Race
With the champion already decided, Sunday’s final round-robin matches turned into a mad scramble for the final two playoff spots:
- Cape Town City FC (2nd Place): The Citizens put on a masterclass at Dobsonville Stadium, digging deep to secure a gritty 4-2 away victory against Leicesterford City. A superb brace from Jaedin Rhodes, alongside strikes from Gabriel Amato and Dženan Zajmovic, locked down second spot.
- Milford FC (3rd Place): Milford did just enough to edge their way into the postseason, grinding out a tense 0-0 draw away to Hungry Lions. The result broke the hearts of the Lions, who finished 5th and just two points short of the playoff threshold.

- The Drop Zone: At the bottom end of the log, it was heartbreak for South African football staples Baroka FC and Black Leopards, whose relegations had already been mathematically confirmed prior to the final matchday.

Cape Town City and Milford must now wait anxiously for the final whistle of the Betway Premiership season to discover the identity of their third playoff opponent.
As it stands, a tense survival battle is brewing in the top flight, with Magesi FC, Orbit College, Marumo Gallants, and Chippa United all in danger of finishing in the dreaded 15th-place playoff spot.
