South Africa’s premier media mogul, Bonang Matheba, once again proved why she is known as “Queen B” by delivering an masterclass in hosting and high fashion at the Miss Cosmo 2025 Grand Finale.
The event, held on Saturday, December 20, at the Creative Park in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, saw Bonang co-hosting alongside Bùi Đức Bảo. While the night celebrated the crowning of the USA’s Yolina Lindquist as the first-ever American Miss Cosmo, it was Bonang’s wardrobe that stole the spotlight across social media.

The Outfits: A Celebration of African Excellence
True to her reputation for making every stage her runway, Bonang showcased three breathtaking ensembles that fused local craftsmanship with international flair. In a powerful nod to the continent’s talent, her wardrobe was a curated mix of African luxury:
- The Nigerian Duo: Two of her show-stopping gowns were crafted by leading Nigerian designers, emphasizing her deep ties and influence within the West African fashion scene.
- The Mzansi Masterpiece: Her third look featured a stunning creation by a South African designer, ensuring her home country was represented at the peak of global pageantry.

The Miss Cosmo 2025 Milestone
The pageant itself made waves as 22-year-old Yolina Lindquist (USA) took home the crown. However, for South African fans, the highlight was seeing Bonang command the Vietnamese stage with the poise and professionalism that has made her a household name across the globe.
