The situation surrounding the alleged altercation at a Johannesburg nightclub has intensified significantly. Socialite Inno Morolong has taken to social media to officially confirm that she was the victim of a violent attack, explicitly naming businessman Andile Mpisane and his associates as her alleged assailants.
A Harrowing Account
In a series of raw and emotional Instagram Stories, Morolong detailed the terrifying events of Monday night. She claims she was not only confronted by Mpisane but was physically assaulted by him, his friends, and members of his security detail.
“I was attacked by men last night at the club,” Morolong wrote. “Andile Mpisane and his nkabi’s assaulted me. My life is in danger; I’m not okay. How can a group of men just attack me like that? I’m so hurt.”
Asserting that there is objective evidence to support her claims, Morolong insisted that the nightclub’s internal surveillance footage will corroborate her account of the “horrible assault.”
Seeking Accountability
The socialite has escalated the matter publicly, directly addressing Mpisane’s mother, the prominent businesswoman Shauwn “Mam’Mkhize” Mkhize. In a desperate plea for justice and acknowledgment of the severity of the incident, Morolong expressed that she is now living in constant fear.
“Mam’Mkhize, your son Andile Mpisane assaulted me with his friends and security. I almost lost my life, and I’m living in fear now,” she added.
Police Involvement
Taking the necessary legal steps, Morolong has confirmed that the matter is no longer just a social media dispute. She shared an image of herself outside the Sandton Police Station, confirming that she has officially opened a criminal case against Mpisane and those involved. She has reportedly provided the case number to substantiate that legal proceedings are now underway.
As of this morning, neither Andile Mpisane nor representatives for the Mkhize family have issued a formal response to these grave allegations. This is a developing story, and we will continue to provide updates as official police reports or statements become available.
