Kaizer Chiefs supporters are becoming increasingly impatient with midfielder Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, with his recent performances reigniting debate over his future at Naturena.

That record helps explain some of the frustration, but it doesn’t necessarily mean the midfielder has no future at Chiefs.

The bigger question is whether Ngcobo can rediscover the form that once made him one of Chiefs’ promising midfielders.
After years of injury problems, regular football could give him an opportunity to rebuild confidence and establish some consistency.
