Marcus Harvey has added another visual chapter to his latest album Son of Elvis, releasing the official music video for “Waters.”
The singer, songwriter, rapper and producer unveiled the new visual on social media, announcing that the “Waters” music video is officially out and crediting creative team Twofold ZA for the visuals.
The release continues Harvey’s rollout of Son of Elvis, giving fans a fresh visual interpretation of one of the project’s more intimate tracks.
Marcus Harvey brings “Waters” to life
Originally released as a single on 7 August 2026, “Waters” later appeared on Son of Elvis, which arrived on 28 August 2026 via Stay Low Records.
At around two-and-a-half minutes, the track blends Harvey’s alternative R&B and neo-soul influences with jazz-inspired textures and subtle boom-bap elements.
The song presents a more vulnerable side of the artist. While its romantic tone initially feels confident and intimate, Harvey gradually turns the focus towards questions of commitment, loyalty and whether love can survive difficult circumstances.
Production on the track includes longtime collaborator Fiji Mageba, with additional production credited to ClxssicsOnly.
The new video now gives that emotional theme a visual extension.
Inside Marcus Harvey’s Son of Elvis era
“Waters” forms part of the wider story Harvey has been developing through Son of Elvis.
Born Lawrence Ofentse Harvey Mashiloane in Alexandra Township, Johannesburg, in 1999, Harvey has built a career around his ability to move between singing, rapping and production.
His previous releases include I Am Marcus Harvey, the You Still Don’t Know Me EP and Now You Know Me, with each project contributing to his evolving approach to storytelling and self-expression.
His latest album takes that exploration further.
The title Son of Elvis references his father’s name while exploring themes of family, inheritance, identity and self-discovery. Within that broader narrative, “Waters” provides a softer and more personal perspective.
Twofold ZA reunites with Harvey
The “Waters” video also marks another creative link-up between Harvey and Twofold ZA.
The creative team has previously contributed to Harvey’s visual work, including post-production on the official “Malume” music video and the “Charlotte” visualiser.
While Harvey has not revealed extensive details about the concept behind the new “Waters” video, the release allows the visuals to complement the song’s themes without overexplaining them.
With the new video now available, Marcus Harvey continues to build the visual world surrounding Son of Elvis while giving listeners another reason to revisit the album.
“Waters” is available on major streaming platforms, with the official music video now out.
