Tasha HendrixX has finally given fans the visual chapter they have been waiting for, releasing the official music video for “StrobeLights,” her collaboration with Zulu Mecca.
The long-awaited release arrives almost a year after the song first appeared on HendrixX’s 2025 mixtape, Against All Odds, giving the track a fresh opportunity to connect with audiences through visuals.
The rapper celebrated the release online, admitting that the video had been a long time coming but expressing excitement that it could finally be shared with fans.
She also praised Zulu Mecca for delivering what she described as a timeless verse, highlighting the creative chemistry between the two artists.
“StrobeLights” Gets Its Visual Moment
“StrobeLights” is positioned as the ninth track on the 11-song Against All Odds, which was released on 7 October 2025.
While the song has already formed part of HendrixX’s musical story, the new video gives it another life nearly a year after the mixtape’s original arrival.
The collaboration combines HendrixX’s distinctive hip-hop style with the lyrical presence of Zulu Mecca, the stage name of actress and rapper Mandisa Nduna.
The pairing brings together two artists known for maintaining strong individual identities, making the collaboration one of the more memorable moments on the project.

The video also features appearances from Spike Adam Lyf, Katlego The Don and Linda, adding further personalities to the visual presentation.

When Against All Odds arrived in October 2025, the project introduced a body of work centred on independence, personal reflection and perseverance.
Executive produced by PdotO, the mixtape allowed HendrixX to explore different sides of her artistry while maintaining a strong hip-hop foundation.
