Cassper Nyovest has publicly distanced himself from American rapper Rick Ross, saying the artist’s alleged conduct towards women has caused him to lose his support.
The South African hip-hop star shared his reaction in a post on X, where he made it clear that violence against women is something he strongly rejects.

Cassper wrote that he could no longer support Rick Ross because of allegations that the rapper had been involved in violence against women.
“Rick Ross just lost a fan in me,” Cassper posted.
He went on to explain that he does not support men who assault women, describing such behaviour in strongly critical terms.
Cassper’s comments come shortly after he also stated that “beating a woman is NEVER EVER the way” in a separate X post.
The rapper has therefore used his social-media platform to make his personal position on violence against women clear, while the latest comments have sparked discussion among fans online.
