Football fans planning to watch the 2026 MTN8 final live can now prepare for the ticket rush, with general access tickets going on sale this Friday.
Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns will meet in the MTN8 final at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday, 10 October 2026.
Kick-off is scheduled for 18:00, with general access tickets priced at R150 per person.
When do MTN8 final tickets go on sale?
General access tickets will be available from 10:00 on Friday, 2 October 2026.
Given the interest surrounding a final between two of South Africa’s biggest clubs, supporters are expected to face significant demand when sales open.
Where can you buy MTN8 final tickets?
Tickets will be sold exclusively online through OpenTickets.
There will be no ticket sales at Moses Mabhida Stadium or at physical retail outlets.
Supporters should therefore use the official online ticketing platform when sales open.
How many tickets can you buy?
Fans can purchase a maximum of four tickets per transaction.
An online queueing system will be used to manage demand. Once tickets have been successfully added to a shopper’s cart, the buyer will have 10 minutes to complete payment.
Supporters should have a valid bank card and sufficient funds ready before beginning the purchase process.
Children and infants also need tickets
The PSL has confirmed that every person entering Moses Mabhida Stadium must have a valid ticket.
This includes children and infants, so supporters attending with young family members should make sure each person has a ticket before arriving at the stadium.
Avoid unofficial ticket sellers
Fans have also been warned against buying tickets from unauthorised sellers, secondary marketplaces or street vendors.
Tickets purchased through unofficial channels could be declared invalid, potentially leaving supporters unable to enter the stadium.
