The celebrated artist, whose birth name is Sandile Fortune Msimango, took the opportunity to celebrate more than just his current success. He chose to honor the origins of his career by addressing a powerful, emotional message to his pre-fame self, whom he affectionately referred to using his family name, “Msimango.”
