In a move that has left the singer’s camp baffled, a case of reckless and negligent driving was officially opened at the Mokopane Police Station. However, the complainant isn’t Makhadzi—it’s the motorist who hit her.

The Mystery of the Mokopane Filing
According to reports from Daily Sun, the driver claims he struck a pedestrian at approximately 08:15 AM on the morning of the crash. His statement allegedly describes a scene where a man jumped out of a black Mercedes-Benz to rush a secondary victim (Makhadzi) to the hospital. The driver reportedly noted the Mercedes’ registration before it sped off to seek medical help.
Team Makhadzi Hits Back
Makhadzi’s spokesperson, Lucky Tshilimandila, expressed pure disbelief at the news, pointing out the logistical flaws in the motorist’s claims.
“Against who? Because Makhadzi was not driving,” Tshilimandila stated. “The vehicle Makhadzi was traveling in was stationary. She got out of the car and stood outside when she was hit. It’s not like our vehicle was moving.”
Recovery and Operations
This legal headache comes as Makhadzi tries to turn her pain into art. The singer recently made headlines for using a raw, unfiltered selfie from her hospital bed as the cover art for her latest single, “Operations.” While she is now back home and receiving specialized care, the confusion at the Mokopane Police Station adds a layer of stress to her healing process.
