The battle over baby Kenzo-Lu has intensified as reality star Ash-ley Ogle issued a scathing rebuttal to Sweet Guluva’s recent public statement. Breaking her silence via Instagram, Ogle accused the Big Brother Mzansi winner of spreading misinformation and failing to support her during her pregnancy.
Ogle’s response paints a starkly different picture of the situation, claiming that the alleged “attempts” to be an involved father are non-existent.
Disputing the “Access Denied” Narrative
While Sweet Guluva’s team alleged that Ogle has been blocking his access to the newborn, Ogle maintains that she cannot deny someone who never showed up.
“I would like to put it on record that no such attempt has been made to me and my family,” she stated. “I cannot deny access to someone that has made no attempt to be part of the pregnancy or the birth of my son.”
The Birth Certificate Confrontation
Ogle clarified that her only recent contact with Sweet Guluva (Akhonamathemba Zwane) occurred post-birth and was strictly administrative. According to Ogle:
- Zwane’s primary concern was whether his name appeared on the birth certificate.
- Ogle confirmed she did not register him, citing his total absence during the process.
- She declined a request to meet in public, noting she was still in recovery after childbirth.
Cultural Disrespect and Emotional Toll
Addressing the mention of Zulu cultural practices (intlawulo), Ogle alleged that her family was disrespected throughout her pregnancy. She claims that “proper procedure” was never followed by Zwane or his representatives.
Allegations of Bullying and Harassment
Ogle did not hold back on the personal cost of the drama, detailing a harrowing nine months:
- Public Humiliation: Alleged bullying from Zwane’s fans and inner circle.
- Defamatory Remarks: Claims that her character and mental health were publicly attacked.
- Emotional Stress: Ogle stated she has been “to hell and back” while navigating her pregnancy under intense scrutiny.
