
South Africa’s premier fashion celebration, GLAMOUR’s Most GLAMOURous Fashion Awards 2026, lit up the Divine Sunset venue on Saturday, 25 July. The annual red-carpet event brought together the nation’s top style icons, designers, tastemakers, and digital creators to honour the figures defining Mzansi’s evolving style identity.
Leading the night’s big winners was legendary media mogul and former Miss South Africa Basetsana Kumalo, who was honored with the prestigious Fashion Icon Award. The accolade recognizes her decades of timeless sophistication, red-carpet excellence, and enduring influence across generations.

The ceremony highlighted both established icons and contemporary trendsetters making waves in fashion, entertainment, and digital culture:
- Style Influencer Award: Award-winning singer Thabsie took home the top influencer honour, celebrated for her seamless blend of music and contemporary fashion, moving effortlessly between bold trend statements and personal elegance.
- Celebrity Style Transformation Award: The Real Housewives of Durban star Sorisha Naidoo earned recognition for her dynamic style evolution, showcasing versatility, luxury, and confidence across every era of her public journey.
- Emerging Style Icon Award: The Mommy Club breakout star Ratile Mabitsela was named a rising voice in local fashion, applauded for her fresh approach to visual storytelling and personal expression.
