Grammy Award-winning South African sensation Tyla is showering love on her featured artists following the global release of her sophomore studio album, APOP*, on Friday, 24 July 2026.
Among the standout collaborations on the project is the track “I Don’t Care,” featuring renowned Amapiano vocalist Babalwa M. Taking to Instagram to share a preview snippet of the official music video, Tyla opened up about her longtime admiration for Babalwa’s artistry:
“I fell in love with your voice from the first time I heard it and always wanted a record w you. You carry such a gift and I’m honoured to have you on this girl,” Tyla posted.
Babalwa M responded with equal enthusiasm, expressing her gratitude: “Thank you for featuring me superstar. I’m honoured u know sisonke. I love you.”

Babalwa M isn’t the only local powerhouse lending her vocals to APOP*. Tyla also linked up with popular singer Mawhoo on the track “Crazy of Me.”
