The Springboks’ upcoming one-off Test against Argentina in Buenos Aires on 8 August 2026 has taken on strategic importance. With as many as 10 key players returning from various injury layoffs, head coach Rassie Erasmus will use the South American fixture to build match sharpness ahead of the upcoming four-Test series against the All Blacks.
Springbok captain Siya Kolisi, who sat out the opening three Tests of the year due to a hamstring injury, is among the high-profile returnees set to feature against Los Pumas.
