Nasty C has revealed that Sammie Heavens could receive an offer from Tall Racks as she continues to develop her career as a recording artist.
The South African rap star opened up about Sammie’s musical journey during a conversation with Scoop Makhathini, shedding light on her abilities while addressing speculation about her future in the music industry.
While Tall Racks appears willing to welcome her into its stable, Nasty C made it clear that the final decision will ultimately belong to Sammie.
Tall Racks Ready to Make an Offer
During the conversation, Scoop asked Nasty C whether Sammie, who has recently been exploring music more seriously, could potentially sign with Tall Racks.
Nasty C confirmed that the opportunity could be on the table but stressed that Sammie would be free to choose whichever direction suits her career.
“Yeah, we’re definitely gonna offer her all those things, but if she chooses anything else, that’s totally fine,” Nasty C said.
The comments have added another layer to growing interest around Sammie’s transition into music, particularly given her relationship with one of South Africa’s most recognised rappers.
However, Nasty C’s remarks suggest that the possibility of a Tall Racks deal should not be confused with an official signing.
Sammie Was a Writer Before Nasty C
Nasty C also pushed back against the idea that Sammie’s interest in music came simply from being around him.
According to the rapper, Sammie was already a writer and poet before the two became a couple. He recalled watching her express herself through poetry and said her creative ability existed long before their relationship.
“She’s been a writer. She was a writer before she met me, before I met her,” he explained.
He also remembered her passion for poetry, saying she “used to go crazy on the poems.”
That background, Nasty C suggested, helped create a natural pathway into music.
From Poetry to Rap and Singing
Sammie’s artistic evolution has reportedly moved beyond poetry into both rap and singing.
Nasty C recalled seeing one of her early performances and being impressed by how naturally she was adapting to music.
“I saw one of her clips, and I’m like, wow,” he said, reflecting on one of her verses.
He pointed to her ability to move between different forms of expression, describing her development as she progressed from poetry to rapping and eventually singing.
That versatility could give Sammie room to establish a sound that is distinct from her partner’s musical identity.
Nasty C Denies Writing Her Music
Nasty C also addressed one of the questions that has followed Sammie since she began releasing music — whether he writes her songs.
The rapper firmly rejected the suggestion that he is ghostwriting for her.
“A lot of people think I write for her. I do not,” he said.
The clarification reinforces his view that Sammie should be recognised for her own creativity and songwriting ability rather than simply being associated with him.
Sammie’s Next Move
With Tall Racks reportedly prepared to offer her an opportunity, Sammie now appears to have several options as she continues shaping her musical career.
For Nasty C, the message is clear: he can support her journey, but her artistic decisions remain her own.
Whether Sammie eventually joins Tall Racks or chooses an independent path remains to be seen. For now, the possibility of a deal has certainly added intrigue to the next stage of her music career.
